  • Does Frenchify Program offer TEF/TCF or TEFAQ training?
    Yes, Exam specific training is provided right from the start and the programs are designed in a way to fast-track the preparation.
  • Is speaking module covered in A1 level?
    Yes, speaking tasks are given right from A1 level.
  • Does Frenchify Program have doubt sessions?
    Along with online level specific programs, each week in total 4-5 live doubts, pronunciation and coffee sessions are provided to students for better understanding and to get mentorship.
  • At what level does TEF specific training start in Frenchify?
    At B2 level, mock exam practices begin with sessions focus on exam specific preparation covering all 4 modules of RWSL.
  • Are there Pronunciation Sessions in Frenchify Program?
    Yes, pronunciation sessions start right from A1 so that students can practice accents and speaking right from start.
  • How much time does it take to clear TEF with Frenchify?
    If you study average 2-3 hours daily A1 & A2 can be completed within 3 months, B1 & B2 within 5-6 months. If you are studying French full-time the time frame reduces.
  • Is there an exam conducted after each level at Frenchify?
    Yes, student has to pass level specific exam conducted at Frenchify by Vyom to promote to the next level.
  • How long are the results of TEF & TCF valid?
    2 years
  • Can I give each module individually? If I score less in 1 module?
    No, unlike Ielts we cannot give each module separately. You need to re attempt all 4 modules if you score less in any of the section.
  • How many times can I give these exams?
    Student can attempt multiple times there is no limit. However, there must be a waiting period of 30 days between 2 test attempts in any location.
  • Do we need to give level specific exams for TEF/TCF?
    No, you don't need to give exams after each level. They only want your overall score to be CLB/NCLC 5 or 7 depending on stream.
  • Where can I find mock Tests for TEF exam?
    PrepMyFuture offers 3 exact sample tests like TEF which can be solved for brief practices.
  • Is IELTS and TEF exam same/similar?
    They both have same four modules Reading, Writing, Speaking & Listening but they both have different formats. For e.g. TEF exam has only MCQ answer option in Reading and Listening
  • Which level is required for French Immigration Stream?
    CLB/NCLC 7 is required, which is B2 plus level in French.
  • What is the main difference between TEF & TCF French exam?
    Time allotted to each module, Format and Number of questions.
  • How much score is CLB 7 from?
    The score range for TEF/TCF is out of 12. Unlike IELTS band which is out of 9.
  • Is the exam MCQ based?
    Yes
  • Does Frenchify with Vyom offer Beginner to TEF specific coaching one on one?
    I don't personally recommend to go with one on one sessions as it will stretch your learning time to almost double and is exhausting for mind and pockets.   • Do we really need to join coaching or can we do it by ourselves?
    It is completely possible to self learn until beginner level but for intermediate levels proper guidance is required specifically for Speaking and Writing modules. Self study takes more time around 6-8 months for A1 A2 level but with coaching and proper structure you can do it within 3 months.
  • How to keep yourself motivated while learning French?
    Join community groups where you will find study partners, take mentorship and coaching to reduce the prep time for exam, Focus on all 4 aspects on regular intervals if you get bored of only doing grammar and vocabulary.
  • Can we clear French from beginner in 6 months if I study for 12 hours daily?
    This is something which is not recommended as it is mentally draining. If you are studying French full-time (No job, no college) you can attain CLB 5-6 depending on your practice.
  • Can I get bilingual job if I am at B1 level?
    Yes, depending on your job profile if it is more into customer service or a middle man job. To be precise they check your language fluency during the interview as well to be sure. Your TEF/TCF/TEFAQ/DELF results will be helpful.
