  • The Canadian government also accepts it for various Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs), start-up visa programs, and applying as a self-employed worker.

  • It is proof of language ability by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) for Canadian citizenship applications and permanent residence.

  • One needs a minimum of level 7 (level B2 of the CEFR) to get additional bonus points.
